Two seasons of excavation
On assignment by Rio Göteborg Nature- and Culture cooperative
Once in the winter and once in the summer I had the pleasure of visiting the archaeological excavation of Vårgårda in Västra Götaland. Not only did they find everything from houses to graves, but also a small stone, probably with the function of testing precious metals. Most spectacular was the little box, probably used as a container for wax.
